We shot our first narrative with the GH3 in the past two days, as part of Film Riot's biweekly Monday Challenge. The 'Challenge' this time round was to recreate a scene from an existing movie, as close to the original as possible.
We chose the film Infernal Affairs because of its great cinematography, and secondly because most would usually select a Hollywood film, we decided to choose an Asian film instead.
Although we didn't make the deadline (we discovered this late and only began shooting 28 hours before deadline time!), we are pretty satisfied with the result since it only took us a total of about 12 hours of production time in between a total duration of 32 hours to finish this.
We also ran into some problems along the way (missing soundtrack bits and lack of crew) due to the last minute nature of the project, but we totally enjoyed the ride, and if given the opportunity, we would want to attempt that rooftop finale.
Anyone willing to loan us a roof?
