We've been experimenting with JaguarsTV's presentation style since we've taken up the contract, tweaking it and adding production value and upping the quality of presentation each time
We believe that part of the attraction to televised sports is the presentation style, and observing the styles used in major European competitions like the Premier League and UEFA Champions League, we noticed that they have very clean and neat layouts which are able to display the most information possible for their purposes.
Therefore we came up with a style of our own, using Adobe's Myriad Pro font commonly seen on Apple products. We also adapted the separation between first name and surnames using font sizes, similar to the Champions League. After all, we learn from the best!
Stadiums can also look rather dull, especially when some floodlights have a rather strange colour temperature which give off either a yellowish or bluish tint, so we've taken the liberty of re-colouring all the footage to look like it was plucked off an actual TV broadcast.
Also, we also started shooting all our match highlights in 50fps, to be able to produce smooth slow motion whenever we need to replay the goals. All in all, a win for the fans!
